TXT-a-Park Payment for Pay & Display Parking Meters
In January 2004 CHS introduced TXT-a-Park as a form of parking fee payment on CHS Pay and Display Parking Meters.
The TXT-a-Park system enables Parking fees to be charged to Customers’ Monthly Mobile Phone Bills, and in the case of prepaid phones, the parking fee is simply deducted. It is available to all Vodafone and Telecom Mobile Phone users in New Zealand.
TXT-a-Park is very user friendly & secure system providing another simple method for motorists to pay for their parking should the incorrect change be available for coin payment thus avoiding infringements.
TXT-a-Park has the highest take up rate ever seen before on a self–service parking device. This makes the system viable and cost effective for the Fleet Operator.
